The shade looks quite dark when the lamp is off, then the colours become much richer once it is switched on. It looks right in the room.

Unpacking took a little time, but the lamp was very well protected. In person, the retro shape feels characterful rather than overly formal or old-fashioned. The glass and metalwork look tidy when viewed up close.

Lovely once fitted

It arrived in good condition and looked close to the photos. I chose this design for the grape and cat pattern, and in person it feels more detailed than the product photos. The lamp has settled into the space more naturally than expected.
