It arrived in good condition and looked close to the photos. We measured the space first, and the 8-inch shade leaves comfortable room around the table.

Feels just right where we placed it.

Unpacking took a little time, but the lamp was very well protected. In person, the retro shape feels characterful rather than overly formal or old-fashioned. Finding suitable E26 bulbs was straightforward, and warm white ones suit the glass best in our room.

Worth the wait

The colours are softer in daylight and much warmer in the evening. I checked the measurements beforehand, and the 16-inch size sits comfortably beside the other furniture.
