For us, the biggest improvement is the colours in the glass and it has settled into the space.

The box looked large, although the lamp inside was packed securely. The rose and bird details are much clearer when the glass is lit, but they do not look busy from across the room. The lamp has settled into the space more naturally than expected.

In the evening, the light feels cosy without making the room dim. A good choice.
