Worth the wait

So pleased with the 16-inch proportions for us.

On the desk, the colours feel soft rather than overly bright. Worth choosing.

The lamp arrived carefully packed, with every glass section intact. We chose it for the study, where the warmer glass light feels more comfortable in the evening. In person, the European-style shape feels characterful rather than overly formal or old-fashioned.

The box looked large, although the lamp inside was packed securely. The 20-inch shade is large enough to give presence without making the corner feel crowded.

Lovely once fitted

The shade looks quite dark when the lamp is off, then the colours become much richer once it is switched on. It has made the corner feel warmer without being too bright.
