Worth the wait

Below the shade, the lamp feels solid and looks properly made.

Good light without glare near the path.

The base feels stable and the lamp does not wobble when it is used. The proportions look right with the table and the surrounding furniture.

It arrived in good condition and looked close to the photos. The 7-inch size matches the space more closely than I expected from the photos. In person, the retro shape feels characterful rather than overly formal or old-fashioned. The glass and metalwork look tidy when viewed up close.

Near the reading chair, the stained glass looks warmer than it did in the box.
