Worth the wait

The box looked large, although the lamp inside was packed securely. In person, the European-style shape feels characterful rather than overly formal or old-fashioned. The glass and metalwork look tidy when viewed up close.

The box looked large, although the lamp inside was packed securely. We chose it for the bedroom, where the warmer glass light feels more comfortable in the evening. The 8-inch size matches the space more closely than I expected from the photos.

Unpacking took a little time, but the lamp was very well protected. The resin base has more texture than the photos showed and feels stable once the lamp is in position. Nothing about the design feels too showy in the room.
