The pattern has enough detail to be interesting without looking busy. The bronze finish is darker and softer than bright metal, which suits the coloured glass well.

Unpacking took a little time, but the lamp was very well protected. The 16-inch shade is a good scale for our table and does not crowd the surface. It looks as good as I hoped and we use it often.

The lamp arrived carefully packed, with every glass section intact. The rose details are much clearer when the glass is lit, but they do not look busy from across the room. The lamp has settled into the space more naturally than expected.
