Worth the wait

The box looked large, although the lamp inside was packed securely. The 12-inch shade is a good scale for our table and does not crowd the surface. The glass and metalwork look tidy when viewed up close.

Unpacking took a little time, but the lamp was very well protected. The 16-inch shade is large enough to give presence without making the corner feel crowded. The lamp has settled into the space more naturally than expected.

Everything was protected properly and the glass arrived without damage. We chose it for the bedroom, where the warmer glass light feels more comfortable in the evening. It does not look out of place with the rest of the room.
