Unpacking took a little time, but the lamp was very well protected. The 12-inch shade is a good scale for our table and does not crowd the surface. The glass and metalwork look tidy when viewed up close.

It gives a warm pool of light instead of a sharp white glare. The 8-inch shade is a good scale for our table and does not crowd the surface.
