After unpacking, the vintage shape suits our furniture surprisingly well. Just what we wanted.

Unpacking took a little time, but the lamp was very well protected. Finding suitable E26 bulbs was straightforward, and warm white ones suit the glass best in our room. In person, the retro shape feels characterful rather than overly formal or old-fashioned.

Useful beside the bed on our side table.

The vintage shape suits the room better than a plain modern fitting. The 16-inch shade is large enough to give presence without making the corner feel crowded.

The box looked large, although the lamp inside was packed securely. We measured the space first, and the 8-inch shade leaves comfortable room around the table.
