Worth the wait

This wall light replaced an old fitting that looked too bulky for the room. The glass section arrived intact and was protected carefully. It is decorative but still practical for everyday use.

I really like the proportions after dark.

Unpacking took a little time, but the lamp was very well protected. We measured the space first, and the 16-inch shade leaves comfortable room around the table. The glass and metalwork look tidy when viewed up close.
