Everything was protected properly and the glass arrived without damage. In person, the European-style shape feels characterful rather than overly formal or old-fashioned. We measured the space first, and the 12-inch shade leaves comfortable room around the table. I am pleased that the colours look warm rather than overly bright.

The box looked large, although the lamp inside was packed securely. The bronze finish is darker and softer than bright metal, which suits the coloured glass well. The 16-inch size matches the space more closely than I expected from the photos.

Beside the monitor, the glass has more depth than the photos showed.

In our living room, the stained glass looks warmer than it did in the box.

The classic shape looks good in person.
