On the desk, the finished lamp feels balanced in the space.

The pattern has enough detail to be interesting without looking busy. The peacock details are much clearer when the glass is lit, but they do not look busy from across the room.

I chose it mainly for the grape design, and it looks natural in person. In person, the European-style shape feels characterful rather than overly formal or old-fashioned.

Really pleased

It arrived in good condition and looked close to the photos. The 16-inch shade is a good scale for our table and does not crowd the surface. The rustic design works with our existing furniture without making the room feel themed.

Gives a cosy evening glow beside our sofa.
