Unpacking took a little time, but the lamp was very well protected. In person, the European-style shape feels characterful rather than overly formal or old-fashioned. We chose it for the study, where the warmer glass light feels more comfortable in the evening.

The grape pattern looks especially good once the glass is lit. The European-style design works with our existing furniture without making the room feel themed.

It gives a warm pool of light instead of a sharp white glare. The resin base has more texture than the photos showed and feels stable once the lamp is in position.

The shade needed a small adjustment before it sat completely straight. The 18-inch shade is a good scale for our table and does not crowd the surface.
