It gives a warm pool of light instead of a sharp white glare. The 20-inch shade is a good scale for our table and does not crowd the surface.

Looks smart beside my monitor every evening.

It looks beautiful over the dining table.

The lamp arrived carefully packed, with every glass section intact. In person, the European-style shape feels characterful rather than overly formal or old-fashioned. The 16-inch size matches the space more closely than I expected from the photos. It does not look out of place with the rest of the room.
