Worth the wait

The box looked large, although the lamp inside was packed securely. The 8-inch shade is a good scale for our table and does not crowd the surface. In person, the European-style shape feels characterful rather than overly formal or old-fashioned. The glass and metalwork look tidy when viewed up close.
