Unpacking took a little time, but the lamp was very well protected. The 12-inch size feels balanced over the table rather than looking lost or oversized. In person, the European-style shape feels characterful rather than overly formal or old-fashioned. The glass and metalwork look tidy when viewed up close.

Looks even better lit

The peacock detail is easy to notice without dominating the room. The resin base has more texture than the photos showed and feels stable once the lamp is in position.
