Below the shade, the glass has more depth than the photos showed.

Unpacking took a little time, but the lamp was very well protected. Finding suitable E26 bulbs was straightforward, and warm white ones suit the glass best in our room. In person, the European-style shape feels characterful rather than overly formal or old-fashioned.

With the main light off, the lamp feels solid and looks properly made. Very pleased overall.
