Just right for the room

It arrived in good condition and looked close to the photos. The 16-inch shade is large enough to give presence without making the corner feel crowded. It does not look out of place with the rest of the room.

Everything was protected properly and the glass arrived without damage. The rose and cat details are much clearer when the glass is lit, but they do not look busy from across the room. I am pleased that the colours look warm rather than overly bright.

The lamp arrived carefully packed, with every glass section intact. The 16-inch shade is a good scale for our table and does not crowd the surface. Finding suitable E26 bulbs was straightforward, and warm white ones suit the glass best in our room.

During evening work, the classic style looks natural rather than old-fashioned. Just what we wanted.
