A warm white bulb gives the softer evening light we wanted. The shade needed a small adjustment after unpacking before it sat straight. I would make the same choice again.

Setup needed a little more patience than I expected at first. After that, the overall effect is warm and the light works as expected.

The box looked large, although the lamp inside was packed securely. Finding suitable E26 bulbs was straightforward, and warm white ones suit the glass best in our room. The glass and metalwork look tidy when viewed up close.
