It gives a useful pool of light without filling the whole room with glare. It is now the light we use most often in that corner of the room.

Just right for the room

We are delighted by how the glass glows.

The box looked large, although the lamp inside was packed securely. The one bulbs give useful light across the room while the coloured glass keeps it soft. In person, the European-style shape feels characterful rather than overly formal or old-fashioned.

The colours look darker while the lamp is switched off. The 6-inch size matches the space more closely than I expected from the photos.
