The box looked large, although the lamp inside was packed securely. I checked the measurements beforehand, and the 16-inch size sits comfortably beside the other furniture. It looks as good as I hoped and we use it often.

It gives a useful pool of light without filling the whole room with glare. It has made the corner feel warmer without being too bright.

Looks even better lit

Everything was protected properly and the glass arrived without damage. In person, the European-style shape feels characterful rather than overly formal or old-fashioned. We measured the space first, and the 16-inch shade leaves comfortable room around the table. I am pleased that the colours look warm rather than overly bright.
