Unpacking took a little time, but the lamp was very well protected. In person, the European-style shape feels characterful rather than overly formal or old-fashioned. We measured the space first, and the 7-inch shade leaves comfortable room around the table. The glass and metalwork look tidy when viewed up close.

In the corner, the glass has more depth than the photos showed. It suits us well.
