It gives a warm pool of light instead of a sharp white glare. I chose this design for the dragonfly pattern, and in person it feels more detailed than the product photos.

Looks even better lit

Beside the monitor, the solder lines look neat and carefully finished. Worth choosing.

On the side table, the lamp feels solid and looks properly made. Very pleased overall.
