The box looked large, although the lamp inside was packed securely. The 8-inch size matches the space more closely than I expected from the photos.

From the doorway, the glass has more depth than the photos showed. Just what we wanted.

It arrived in good condition and looked close to the photos. The 16-inch shade is a good scale for our table and does not crowd the surface. It does not look out of place with the rest of the room.
