The box looked large, although the lamp inside was packed securely. The 8-inch shade is a good scale for our table and does not crowd the surface. I am pleased that the colours look warm rather than overly bright.

With the door open, the stained glass looks warmer than it did in the box.

Really pleased

The lamp arrived carefully packed, with every glass section intact. The rose and cat details are much clearer when the glass is lit, but they do not look busy from across the room. It looks as good as I hoped and we use it often.

With warm bulbs, the classic style looks natural rather than old-fashioned.

It arrived in good condition and looked close to the photos. The European-style design works with our existing furniture without making the room feel themed. We measured the space first, and the 12-inch shade leaves comfortable room around the table. Nothing about the design feels too showy in the room.
