Looks even better lit

The box looked large, although the lamp inside was packed securely. We measured the space first, and the 18-inch shade leaves comfortable room around the table. Finding suitable E26 bulbs was straightforward, and warm white ones suit the glass best in our room.

The lamp arrived carefully packed, with every glass section intact. I checked the measurements beforehand, and the 20-inch size sits comfortably beside the other furniture. In person, the European-style shape feels characterful rather than overly formal or old-fashioned. The lamp has settled into the space more naturally than expected.

The colours look darker while the lamp is switched off. The 16-inch shade is a good scale for our table and does not crowd the surface.
