The box looked large, although the lamp inside was packed securely. The 16-inch shade is a good scale for our table and does not crowd the surface. I am pleased that the colours look warm rather than overly bright.

Worth the wait

Unpacking took a little time, but the lamp was very well protected. The dragonfly and cat details are much clearer when the glass is lit, but they do not look busy from across the room. The lamp has settled into the space more naturally than expected.

Everything was protected properly and the glass arrived without damage. I checked the measurements beforehand, and the 8-inch size sits comfortably beside the other furniture. The glass and metalwork look tidy when viewed up close.

With warm bulbs, the stained glass looks warmer than it did in the box. No regrets here.
