Final alignment took a little more time than I had planned. In the end, it looks right in place and we are pleased with it overall.

Unpacking took a little time, but the lamp was very well protected. In person, the retro shape feels characterful rather than overly formal or old-fashioned. The 12-inch shade is a good scale for our table and does not crowd the surface.
