It does not look out of place with the rest of the room. It sits on our bedside table and gives the room a softer evening light. I am pleased that the colours look warm rather than overly bright.

The shade looks quite dark when the lamp is off, then the colours become much richer once it is switched on. The 10-inch size works well in the space we chose.

We were pleased the first time we switched it on. The size feels balanced with the furniture around it. Nothing about the design feels too showy in the room. The warm light feels comfortable in the evening.

Worth the wait

I wanted a desk lamp with more character than the plain one it replaced. The light falls where I need it for paperwork without creating uncomfortable glare.

On the bedside table, the vintage shape suits our furniture surprisingly well. Worth choosing.
