Works well every evening by the reading chair.

It arrived in good condition and looked close to the photos. We measured the space first, and the 16-inch shade leaves comfortable room around the table. In person, the European-style shape feels characterful rather than overly formal or old-fashioned. Nothing about the design feels too showy in the room.

The shade sits level and the fitting feels secure. The pendant looks neat from every side and the scale feels right.

It is slightly heavier than I expected, which also makes it feel solid. The metal base feels steady in daily use and gives the glass shade enough support without looking bulky.

Very pleased with the solid feel after dark.
