Unpacking took a little time, but the lamp was very well protected. The 8-inch size matches the space more closely than I expected from the photos. The European-style design works with our existing furniture without making the room feel themed. Nothing about the design feels too showy in the room.

It arrived in good condition and looked close to the photos. I checked the measurements beforehand, and the 12-inch size sits comfortably beside the other furniture. In person, the European-style shape feels characterful rather than overly formal or old-fashioned. The lamp has settled into the space more naturally than expected.

Everything was protected properly and the glass arrived without damage. Finding suitable E26 bulbs was straightforward, and warm white ones suit the glass best in our room. We measured the space first, and the 16-inch shade leaves comfortable room around the table.

During evening work, the lamp feels solid and looks properly made.

Beside the sofa, the colours feel soft rather than overly bright. Very pleased overall.
