Lovely once fitted

The box looked large, although the lamp inside was packed securely. Finding suitable E26 bulbs was straightforward, and warm white ones suit the glass best in our room. The 18-inch shade is large enough to give presence without making the corner feel crowded.

Once switched on, the vintage shape suits our furniture surprisingly well. No regrets here.

Everything was protected properly and the glass arrived without damage. In person, the European-style shape feels characterful rather than overly formal or old-fashioned. We measured the space first, and the 12-inch shade leaves comfortable room around the table. I am pleased that the colours look warm rather than overly bright.
