The box looked large, although the lamp inside was packed securely. The 18-inch shade is large enough to give presence without making the corner feel crowded. We chose it for the study, where the warmer glass light feels more comfortable in the evening.

Beautiful glass

It gives a warm pool of light instead of a sharp white glare. I chose this design for the magnolia pattern, and in person it feels more detailed than the product photos.

The lamp arrived safely and was ready to use after a quick setup. It is decorative enough for the room but still works well as a task light.
