The shade looks quite dark when the lamp is off, then the colours become much richer once it is switched on. The proportions look right with the table and the surrounding furniture.

The lamp arrived carefully packed, with every glass section intact. The resin base has more texture than the photos showed and feels stable once the lamp is in position. The lamp has settled into the space more naturally than expected.
