A good result in the end

Beside the bed, the colours feel soft rather than overly bright.

It gives a warm pool of light instead of a sharp white glare. The resin base has more texture than the photos showed and feels stable once the lamp is in position.

The shade needed a small adjustment before it sat completely straight. The 18-inch shade is a good scale for our table and does not crowd the surface.

Just right for the room

The box looked large, although the lamp inside was packed securely. The 16-inch shade is a good scale for our table and does not crowd the surface. The retro design works with our existing furniture without making the room feel themed.

The coloured glass looks good in person.
