The pattern has enough detail to be interesting without looking busy. In person, the retro shape feels characterful rather than overly formal or old-fashioned.

Lovely on the bedside table and the light is comfortable in the evening. The classic style works with the rest of the room.

The box looked large, although the lamp inside was packed securely. The 8-inch shade is a good scale for our table and does not crowd the surface. The glass and metalwork look tidy when viewed up close.
