In our reading corner, the glass has more depth than the photos showed. Just what we wanted.

Unpacking took a little time, but the lamp was very well protected. The 18-inch shade is large enough to give presence without making the corner feel crowded. The European-style design works with our existing furniture without making the room feel themed.

A few small issues

Getting the fitting level took patience, but we are pleased with it overall.
