The shade needed a small adjustment before it sat completely straight. The wisteria details are much clearer when the glass is lit, but they do not look busy from across the room.

It arrived in good condition and looked close to the photos. The bronze finish is darker and softer than bright metal, which suits the coloured glass well. I checked the measurements beforehand, and the 16-inch size sits comfortably beside the other furniture.

It gives a warm pool of light instead of a sharp white glare. The 20-inch shade is a good scale for our table and does not crowd the surface.

Worth the wait
