The pattern has enough detail to be interesting without looking busy. The rose details are much clearer when the glass is lit, but they do not look busy from across the room.

At bedtime, the classic style looks natural rather than old-fashioned. A good choice.

Worth the wait

The stained glass looks richer once the light is switched on. The bronze finish is darker and softer than bright metal, which suits the coloured glass well.

The result I like most is how the glass looks when lit which is easy to appreciate.
