It looks great beside the sofa and gives.

The box looked large, although the lamp inside was packed securely. The rose details are much clearer when the glass is lit, but they do not look busy from across the room. I am pleased that the colours look warm rather than overly bright.

In our reading corner, the finished lamp feels balanced in the space. Worth choosing.

It is slightly heavier than I expected, which also makes it feel solid. The 10-inch shade is a good scale for our table and does not crowd the surface.

Unpacking took a little time, but the lamp was very well protected. In person, the European-style shape feels characterful rather than overly formal or old-fashioned. The 16-inch size feels balanced over the table rather than looking lost or oversized. Nothing about the design feels too showy in the room.
