The rose pattern looks especially good once the glass is lit. In person, the retro shape feels characterful rather than overly formal or old-fashioned.
Unpacking took a little time, but the lamp was very well protected. The 12-inch shade is a good scale for our table and does not crowd the surface. It does not look out of place with the rest of the room.
