Just right for the room

The vintage shape suits the room better than a plain modern fitting. The resin base has more texture than the photos showed and feels stable once the lamp is in position.

The box looked large, although the lamp inside was packed securely. I checked the measurements beforehand, and the 12-inch size sits comfortably beside the other furniture. The glass and metalwork look tidy when viewed up close.

Worth the wait

A warm white bulb gives the softer evening light we wanted. It is now the light we use most often in that corner of the room.
