It gives a warm pool of light instead of a sharp white glare. The metal base feels steady in daily use and gives the glass shade enough support without looking bulky.

The grape detail is easy to notice without dominating the room. I chose this design for the grape pattern, and in person it feels more detailed than the product photos.

The base is slightly wider than it appeared in the photos. In the end, the light works well and the overall result is still good.

I keep noticing the neat finish from below which gives the finished result more character. It also arrived safely and well protected.

The box looked large, although the lamp inside was packed securely. The bird details are much clearer when the glass is lit, but they do not look busy from across the room. It does not look out of place with the rest of the room.
